ARTUR GOTZ
in a RECITAL OF ACTING AND CABARET SONGS
TANGO D'AMORE
Tango d’amore, a recital by Artur Gotz is a story of fascinations between men and women.
The artist leads the audience along the whole range of erotic emotions: from shy raptures and affections to passions and jealousy. There is also a high dosage of good humour and jokes, which appear during the concert quite often interwoven with serious and nostalgic topics.
The lyrical and humorous repertoire is very diverse. We can hear compositions by
Zygmunt Konieczny with whom the artist started cooperation in the
Piwnica pod Baranami, as well as works of, among others: Jerzy Satanowski, Wojciech Waglewski, Marek Michalak and fickle texts by
Agnieszka Osiecka, Jan Wołek, Michał Zabłocki, Marek Grechuta, Zbigniew Książek, often in surprising arrangements and original, thrilling interpretation.
During the recital one can learn a proven recipe for a long life, see the effects of 40-megabyte love, and perhaps discover in oneself a pleasant mood, who knows...
You will not leave the magic meeting with a cabaret song indifferent! Try it yourself!!!
The recital has been performed with great success in Poland and throughout the world, among others in
Austria (Vienna), Belgium (Brussels), Germany (Berlin), the USA (California, Ohio) and has won favour of the press:
Artur Gotz, a charismatic actor and a vocalist who can enchant the audience both with lyrical performances of hits by Marek Grechuta and typically cabaret songs which need considerable comic skills.
Cracow, Dworzanin, summer 2008
The recital, concentrated first of all on relations between men and women, turned out to be a real hit and bowled the audience over. Gotz brought them to more and more different, surprisingly changeable moods – from lyrical and sentimental to naturalistic ones, showing that the reality was not all roses. It did not lack humour, satire and grotesque.
Gazeta Krakowska, 10.03.2008
Each song changes the atmosphere, accelerates the pace, provoking applause in one moment and reflection in another, leaving the audience in silent reverie.
The Netherlands, Pools Podium, No. 49/2007
The recital turned out to be an interesting mark of the young artist – he managed to establish a great contact with the audience with his songs and monologues.
